Associate Professor Shufeng Dong
简介:

Dr.Shufeng Dong is an Associate Professor at the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhjieang UniversityChina. He obtained by Ph.D. degree from Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing China in Jul. 2009, supervised by Prof. Qiang Lu. He leads a team of researchers working in the field of power system state estimation, network planning, optimization and control of micro-grids and active distribution systems. He is leading several robust state estimation for active distribution system related projects supporting by NSFC, Ministry of Education of China and Zhejiang Provincial Education Department. He had a lot of real-time software developing experience in the power industry. As the chief programmer, he established an automatic closed-loop control system to realize the power system multi-objective optimal operation based on hybrid control theory. The system is implemented in two province grids, which were very earliest online applications of the optimal power flow in China. Furthermore, as the team leader, he designed, developed, and deployed the Advanced Energy Management System (AEMS) which is still running in Shanghai dispatch center. AEMS controls all main power plants, main substations and FACTS devices of Shanghai grid coordinately to improve stability and economy indices of power system.
